Partial Solar Eclipse Seen Over UK

Partial solar eclipses were seen in the United Kingdom and Ireland on the morning of June 10 as the moon passed in front of the sun, 40% of which was out of sight. The Royal Astronomical Society said its impact would be greatest in the more northern regions. Hannah Kenyon recorded this video in Bradford. This effect was repeated for SkyWatcher in the Northern Hemisphere. According to NASA, this phenomenon is also called a “solar eclipse,” during which the Moon is “well away from Earth. [it] It looks smaller than the sun in the sky. In parts of Canada, Greenland, and northern Russia, it was expected that the “Ring of Fire” would be visible in the sky as the moon blocked the sun.
