COVID-19 Commander Jeron Weimar of Victoria states that of today’s 423 new cases, there are 274 in the northern region.
“In the northern region, there are 274 positive cases in the northern suburbs, including locations such as Craigieburn, Borough Park and Glenroy,” said Weimer.
“In the western suburbs, there are 112 cases, just over a quarter, in the suburbs of Truganina, Tarneit, Point Cook and more.
“There are 10 cases in the eastern suburbs of Croydon and Donvale.
“And there are 25 cases in the southeast of our city, Keysborough, Dandenong and Clyde North.”
He further stated that there were five regional incidents spanning Ballarat, Geelong and Mitchellshire.
