Professor Brett Sutton, Chief Health Officer, provided a breakdown of new coronavirus infections throughout Victoria.
“In the current outbreak area, Victoria continues to see most of the new cases in the northern suburbs,” said Professor Sutton.
“Of these, 243 are in Hume and 71 are in Craigieburn. That’s 10 percent of the total for the day. 58, 20 Meadow Heights in Roxburgh Park.
“In the western suburbs, 23% of new cases occur in the suburbs such as Altona North, Turnite and Point Cook.
“Currently, the southeastern suburbs account for 10% of cases, but in the last week or two, 75 new cases, five and Cranborn East, and four were epidemic in Dandenong.
“In the eastern suburbs, only 4% of current cases, but a total of 27 including Doncaster East.”
