Jane Kennedy explains why she quit Triple M’s Kennedy Molloy
Triple M radio star Jane Kennedy tearfully explained why she made the sudden decision to quit the radio show with Mick Molloy.
Triple-M radio star Jane Kennedy said goodbye to listeners yesterday and thanked co-host Mick Molloy for the wage deal he claimed.
Kennedy shocked the industry when he announced in a press release last week that he had decided to leave the Triple M national drive show. Kennedy Molloy..
The show returned from yesterday’s summer vacation and Kennedy explained her decision to join Molloy and quit.
“I was abandoned,” Molloy joked to Kennedy. “Are you starting to get to the top of the Maxim Hot 100 list? Are you your next bachelor’s degree? Pursuing an illegal relationship with Dr. Chris Brown?
“Jane Kennedy … Can you explain to us your thoughts and what’s happening in your life?”
Kennedy shed tears and revealed why he decided to leave the show 3.5 years later.
“This is what’s happening. With the blockade and COVID in 2020, I had four teenagers homeschool. To be honest, it’s pretty complete.
“This year I had two college students, a VCE / HSC student, 2 years and 9 years old, all living at home and I thought I could do everything well.
“As you know, this is the highlight of my day,” Kennedy said of the radio show. “You put a lot of effort into it, and I just felt I couldn’t do 100% on a radio show with kids.
“Unfortunately, these nasty five teenagers will have to come first. That’s what happened. I’m sorry everyone, I love you. It’s bloody overwhelming and I’m your kids I want to do the right thing. “
Molloy responded and joked. “That’s where I’m a little upset. Do you have your family in front of me? Do you have your children (in front of me)? Did you think about boarding schools? ? “
Kennedy continued to thank her co-host for ensuring that she was always treated equally on radio stations.
“Mickey, thank you for being a gentleman with me,” she said. “Also, one of the first men in the country to absolutely claim parity … I also call the show Kennedy Molloy.
“There is no doubt that we are treated equally. I just wanted to let everyone know,” she said. “Thank you very much, Mickey, that meant a lot.”
