  2. Me: Watches this for an entire day.
Dr. Mama Jones: Thank you for giving me a moment of your day.
    Me: Okey dokey. NEXT.

  3. I want to ask if it's normal if don't know exactly where my vagina is.. I mean I'm in final year of medschool..and I've seen actual vaginas..but I'm just not sure where mine is.. Discussed it with a few friends (classmates) and some of them also didn't know where exactly it was on them. Also sometimes I think i should get it checked out but I move alot if someone is examining me and I'm scared if I move during that I'll damage it somehow..

  4. I'm curious is the placenta delivered differently than a baby would be? Does it have to be detached / is there a process doctors have to go through to get it to come out? I love that I always learn something new whenever I stop by your channel. Thanks for all you do.

  5. Okay, I'm surprised Persil ISNT a dish detergent…not that I've been using it, but those are cascade pods

  6. I had a gyno who was irritated I went there, on my period; she said she'll spray some saline on my cervix, this time, but next time, I need to reschedule, or she won't see me.

Weird thing, at that time, I was on, BCP's, & my period was hella light (compared to w/out), so….whatever.

  7. is there an age to go get gynecological check ups ? i am 17 and i've heard by someone that at the moment you start taking birth control you should get check ups but i never did so, my school nurse told me i'm too young and its not necessary.. i just wanted to know :) i'm not in the usa (im in canada) but i guess the rules are slightly the same??

  8. I'm so glad you explained about decidual casts. That happened to me once and I freaked out a little bit although at the time I was still a virgin so I knew it wasn't a miscarriage but it gave me some anxiety.

  9. I had a decidual cast once. I was shocked, and for a brief moment and I thought my uterus had fallen out. Obviously that was silly, so I just ended up confused & worried. It took quite a few minutes of panicked googling before I found out what it was. I didn’t know it was possible for the lining to shed in one piece and I’d never heard of it before until I’d had one myself.

  10. MDJ you saved my life tonight I just passed a decidual cast and if I hadn't seen this video and known they were a thing I would have COMPLETELY panicked and probably forced my roomie to take me to the ER. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOUUUUUU (also holy WOW do those fuckers HURT)

  11. "They're really, really good and it ends up being really, really long. So I keep talking." The story of my life…lol

  12. What if I have a decidual cast every month where it stopped when on the pill and came back when I got off?

  13. Okay I have never heard of decidual casts but now it makes so much sense and I think I used to have them pretty frequently. I used to have these chunks come out during my period that were about the size of my thumb and they were fleshy, but I always thought that thats what people meant when they were talking about clots. It wasn't until quite recently that I learn that is absolutely NOT what people are talking about when they talk about clots, this was pretty different from clots 😂

  14. In regards to the Persil. It doesnt say anywhere on that frickin package that its laundry soap and not dish soap. It evel looks like the dish pods my mom uses in her dishwasher. Thats on them

  15. great… now all I can picture is someone somehow sticking their finger into a cervix and getting it stuck 🤣🤣

  16. Thanx for suggesting I search decidual cast on google 🤨🤢🤮…. lol I still love your vids tho. I'm currently 18 weeks with my 5th bb!! U still help me learn which I truly appreciate. Thanx for your medical guidance and what you do for your patients as well. Doctors prolly dont hear that enough, but right now especially with these times, just, thank you!

  17. What is the medicine to treat endometrial cancer? My mom AND grandmother were both diagnosed this year. My grandmother already had her surgery, my mother's is scheduled in just a few days, and based on their diagnoses I am prepared to find out that is caused by Lynch Syndrome this meaning I may have high odds of endometrial cancer as well. Would love to hear about this medicine but also… What are the odds that this is Lynch Syndrome? Should I wait for my mom's results on lynch before I get tested? When should I meet my GYN about this? And if it is Lynch could I get a hysterectomy when I'm done having children before any cancer develops?

  18. Since I'm living in Germany I can tell you: politics and healthcare go hand in hand, and can be quite good friends (If they care about you ;) )

  19. Speaking about things that have changed over time….what is/was a D&C? I read about it in novels and my Mum had one too I think 🧐

  20. I just want to say how much I love you and your channel. It’s so educational and honest, and I’m so glad you do this. ♥️♥️♥️♥️
