For the first time in 25 years, two indigenous runway shows were held at Australian Fashion Week instead of one.First Nations fashion and design [FNFD]Run by Grace Lilian Lee and Teagan Kaurishaw hosted a welcome to country, followed by a multi-designer runway show with all indigenous cast and crew. “We intend to make a difference in this country through fashion,” said emotional Lee after the runway show. The celebration of indigenous designers was a show by an indigenous fashion project later that week. Continued.
