Australia records zero coronavirus cases ahead of national vaccine rollout

Australia did not record a coronavirus infection on Saturday. This is because the country’s largest vaccination program is ready and anti-vax protests have failed to attract “millions” of supporters.

The Victorian outbreak appears to be “more and more controlled” prior to its deployment on Monday. This is Australia’s most complex logistical exercise to date.

The federal government will send a squadron of 500 nurse immune devices nationwide to coordinate vaccinations for residents and staff of geriatric and disabled care facilities.

The state is responsible for vaccination of all others, starting with health and quarantine workers from major hospital hubs.

The federal government allocated 12,000 doses of Pfizer vaccine to Victoria during the first week of the program.

“People will see over time that vaccines are working, that they are protecting individuals, that there are no quality or safety issues, and that they are becoming more confident,” said Chief Health Officer. Brett Sutton told reporters.

Hundreds of people protested on Saturday as part of forced covid vaccination of millions in major cities, as well as in the heart of the Cairns, Coffs Harbor and Albany regions.

Controversial chef Pete Evans, blocked from social media and abandoned by sponsors, marched from Hyde Park through the city of Sydney with anti-boxers and spoke to the crowd after the main speaker.

Protesters marched with placards with slogans such as “Vaccine herd immunity is a fraud” and “Your body, your choice.”

“I don’t know what I can add, but I’ll find out the truth,” cheered Evans, who wasn’t wearing shoes.

“I have no answer. No one but you comes to save you.

“Each of you must stand up with every ability you can.”

Fifteen of them were fined for violating instructions issued by the state’s chief health officer, and five were charged with resisting arrest, interfering with police, and refusing to provide details.

Victorian police used pepper spray when some protesters moved across the cordon, and sometimes seemed to lose control of the crowd, AAP photographers on the scene said.

Some people were covered with pepper spray, but the crowd chanted “freedom, freedom.”

The rally started peacefully, but when the speaker spoke to the crowd, “people started to get pretty excited,” the photographer said.

The speaker commented, “God is on our side” and “It is a battle between good and evil.”

One speaker was instructed by police to disperse people into groups of 20 people. This was the current maximum number allowed for a rally in Victoria and was cheered.

A video shot by Reignite Democracy Australia, an organization founded in opposition to the Victoria State Government’s response to the coronavirus pandemic, shows a speaker congratulating the rise of the crowd.

The woman said she felt “very lonely” as if she had not been allowed to question the government’s decision at the long stage of four blockades in the city last year.

According to a survey by the Australian Bureau of Statistics, men (76%) are more likely than women (71%) to agree or strongly agree to obtain jabs.

It also has stronger support among young Australians than young Australians.

The federal government has repeatedly stated that it does not force people to vaccinate.

However, in high-risk areas such as geriatric care facilities, employees can be forced to obtain jabs, and vaccinations may be a requirement for individual companies and locations.

Outbreak in Victoria

Victorian Health Minister Martin Foley remains cautious, but he is happy to say that things are “more and more controlled” in his patch.

“We are still approaching the outbreak of the (Holiday Inn) with the utmost caution and caution, preparing for the possibility of more locally acquired cases,” he said.

However, restrictions could be further relaxed next Friday, with only 25 cases in the state and one in hospital.

As more jabs become available, six Victorian hospitals will become vaccination hubs. They are Albury-Wodonga Health, Ballarat Health, Barwon Health, Bendigo Health, Goulburn Valley Health, and Latrobe Health.

Professor Sutton also warned that there may be more cases from the holiday-in cluster, and said authorities would investigate the rate at which the vaccine could be deployed before the restrictions were completely relaxed.
